Advertise your walking club
Reasons to advertise
Walking clubs can advertise themselves for free on the webpages of up to 5 High Point locations which feature on their walks programme at least once each year. If you are a walking club, here are some reasons why you should advertise with us:
Advertising on the High Point Ireland is by invitation only. If you have not yet received an invitation from us, feel free to request one.
- Your walking club will be associated with each of its respective High Point location webpages on the High Point Ireland website.
- As an Associated Walking Club, you will get advertising space on each of your chosen High Point location webpages and on the walking clubs webpage.
- Your club will also appear on the walking clubs list on The Ireland Walking Guide website. This list is composed exclusively of walking clubs who are associated with Gribbon locations on the High Point Ireland website.
- Associated Walking Clubs will be recognised as members of the High Point Ireland community.
- You will be permitted to display our "Associated Walking Club" badge on your website. This is available upon request.
- Users of the High Point Ireland and The Ireland Walking Guide websites who are looking for walking clubs to join will be able to easily identify those which best suit their requirements. Please note that as of 1st January 2018, the Irish Walking Clubs map which is linked to The Ireland Walking Guide website had received 20,428 views since its creation in 2012, so it is worth getting your walking club listed on it.
- Advertising your walking club on the High Point Ireland website (and on The Ireland Walking Guide website) is FREE!
- Each year, the top three Associated Walking Clubs will earn a certificate bearing a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award in our annual Highpointeering Club of the Year awards competition.
- As an Associated Walking Club, any recurring open-invitation walking events you organise will qualify for free advertising on the High Point Ireland website (e.g. walking festivals, challenge walks).
Advertising on the High Point Ireland is by invitation only. If you have not yet received an invitation from us, feel free to request one.
Self-assessment
Please answer each of the following questions to yourself with “yes” or “no”.
If you have answered “yes” to all 4 questions, please select up to 5 locations with which you would like your club to become associated. The remaining stages in the setting up process are descibed in our invitation (see below).
If you have answered “no” to any of the 4 questions, please accept this as a indication that the High Point Ireland website is not a suitable advertising channel for your club.
- Would you like to advertise your walking club on the High Point Ireland website?
- Does your walking club's events schedule feature at least one walk each year to a specific High Point location?
- Does your walking club have its own website?
- Is your walking club affiliated with Mountaineering Ireland and/or the Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs?
If you have answered “yes” to all 4 questions, please select up to 5 locations with which you would like your club to become associated. The remaining stages in the setting up process are descibed in our invitation (see below).
If you have answered “no” to any of the 4 questions, please accept this as a indication that the High Point Ireland website is not a suitable advertising channel for your club.
