The rules
How to enter
- Download the Peakhunter app to your smartphone and set up a profile. Peakhunter is our official logging partner.
- Visit High Point locations in Ireland. Log these High Point visits while present at the location using the Peakhunter app.
- Register your High Point visits with us using our online Highpointeer Score Form before the end of 31st December.
- This awards competition starts on 1st January and ends on 31st December each year. During this year-long competition, you are permitted to count up to four visits to each High Point location towards your total points-score for the year.
- If visiting the same High Point location more than once, you must allow at least 48 hours between visits. Multiple visits to the same location within the same 48-hour period will only count as one visit. This is to ensure that you do not simply step out of a High Point's logging zone and back in immediately to log it again. Please note that all Peakhunter logs are time-stamped.
- Highpointeer Score Forms received after 31st December of the respective awards year will not be considered.
- All of the rules above apply to all of our year-long, points-based award and league competitions.
- All of the rules above (excluding the set dates) also apply to our year-long, metres-based 10,000m Challenge.
Winner selection
- All submitted Highpointeer Score Forms are automatically added to a secure spreadsheet.
- Each completed Highpointeer Score Form received is manually checked and verified.
- After the submissions deadline (31st December), the final version of the spreadsheet containing all verified Highpointeer Score Forms received during the year is interrogated and the three highest scoring entrants under the age of 18 years old are identified.
- The highest scoring entrant receives the Gold Award, the second highest receives Silver, and the third highest receives Bronze.
- Award winners are announced as soon as possible after the entry submissions deadline.
