We only request information from participants which is essential for the purpose of managing our Sport Hillwalking initiatives.
This information is limited to participants’ names, email addresses, age groups, counties, and evidence of their Sport Hillwalking activities.
At the end of each hillwalking sports season, we announce a full list of participants who earn certificates and awards during that calendar year. We only publish participants’ names, counties and points-scores in these announcements.
In these announcements, we also make a very broad reference to participants’ age group in the Highpointeering Youth League competition only (i.e. that winners in this category must be under the age of 18 years old).
Participants can choose to be listed as “Anonymous” in our certificates and award announcements. We will maintain a record of all certificate and award recipients on a password-protected computer located in Northern Ireland.
